Interplan is available for participants who reside outside of California. When you or an eligible dependent require an URGENT admission in Nevada, your provider, the hospital or family member must call Interplan at (800) 444-4036 or NPPN at (800) 557-1656 for admissions in all other states, as soon as possible. The mental health and chemical dependency provider for all active participants and their families. All services or treatment plans must be authorized by PBH or benefits will not be paid. Call (877) 22-LABOR twenty-four (24) hours a day, seven (7) days a week for assistance. Their website is www.liveandworkwell.com (access code is BAKERY). NOTE: Indemnity retirees must call the Administrative office for details regarding their mental health benefits.

The mental health and chemical dependency provider for all Kaiser participants and their families. All services or treatment plans must be authorized by a Kaiser Permanente physician. The membership service number is (800) 464-4000 (English), (800) 788-0616 (Spanish) or www.kaiserpermanente.org/california for benefit questions. For referral to facilities or services, you may call the behavioral health hotline at (800) 900-3277. NOTE: Active Kaiser participants have the option of obtaining benefits through HMC or Kaiser; however, Kaiser participants diagnosed with one of the nine diagnoses named in the Mental Health Parity Act (AB88) must receive their services from Kaiser.
